STATNAIA REFUND POLICY
1. Standard Sizes (Return and Exchange)
Corsets and corset dresses (hereinafter the “Garments”) instandard sizes (according to the size chart available on our website [link to the website]) purchased outside of Ukraine are eligible for return and exchange within 14 days of receipt, provided the following conditions are met:
• The Garment must be unworn, in the same condition as received, with no signs of wear, dirt, alterations, or damage (including but not limited to torn or cut lacing, stretched fabric, or any modifications).
• The Garment must be returned in its original packaging, including any accessories, tags, or labels attached.
• If the Garment does not meet these requirements, it will not be eligible for return or exchange.
All shipping and return costs, including customs fees (where applicable) must be borne by the buyer.
2. Exchanges Due to Sizing Issues
Buyers are strongly advised to refer to the size chart before making a purchase to ensure the correct fit. Certain Garments are fitted and do not stretch. Sizes should be chosen based onfull set of measurements: bust, waist, hips and cup size. The size in the size chart corresponds to the waist measurements (e.g., 65B refers to a waist of 65 cm, bust of 85 cm, hips of 93 cm, and cup size B). A maximum discrepancy of 1-2cm from the size chart is permissible, beyond this range the fit will not be guaranteed.
The buyer bears full responsibility for selecting the correct size. Misjudgements based on personal assumptions (e.g., selecting based on a bra size or expecting garments to fit like stretchable fabrics) do not qualify as grounds for a return or exchange. No returns or exchanges will be accepted based on incorrect size selection after the Garment has been received.
We, however, recognise that sizing issues may still occur, this may be due to manufacturing defects or if the Garment received does not match the specifications of the order. In such cases, the following conditions apply:
• The Garment must be returned in its original, unworn condition with all original tags attached and must be placed in undamaged packaging. Any item returned showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration will be rejected.
• In the event of an exchange request, shipping costs for the return will be borne by the buyer, unless agreed otherwise by us on a case-by-case basis.
3. Defective Garments
If a Garment is found to be defective due to a manufacturing error, we will arrange for collection at no additional cost to the buyer. However, the following conditions must be met:
• The buyer must notify us of any defects within 14 days of receipt.
• The buyer is required to provide photographic evidence and a detailed description of the defect.
• The following characteristics are considered natural properties of certain materials and do not qualify as defects:
o Silk and Satin: These fabrics may develop stains or watermarks if exposed to moisture. This is a recognised property of the material and not a defect.
o Glittered Fabrics: Shedding of glitter during wear is a common occurrence and is not classified as a defect. This is inherent to the nature of glittered fabrics.
4. Custom-Made Garments
Garments made to individual measurements are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable. This condition is unequivocally communicated to buyers prior to the order confirmation and included in the product description.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide accurate measurements. Incorrect or inaccurate measurements provided by the buyer will not be grounds for a return or exchange.
By proceeding with the purchase of custom-made Garments, buyers confirm their understanding and acceptance of this policy.
5. Documentation Requirement
Buyers are required to notify us of any return, exchange, or defect claim and to provide photographic evidence where necessary. Returns will only be accepted through the designated postal service provided by us, using the documents and packaging we supply.
